2013 Porsche 981 Boxster Spyder with Black leather interior - bolster damage restoration.

The drivers seat of this Porsche Boxster Spyder 981 was damaged and worn.

The owner wanted the seat to be as near to new as possible. The bolster damage restored using the professional process, this involves chemically stripping off the leathers original coatings. The leather is then chemically strengthened and filled where required, before applying 4 very fine layers of black leather colourant and then 4 fine layers of a clear satin sealant. This provides the hard wearing and water proof layer.

The contrasting decorative stitching makes this process challenging and with the need for precision.

The end result was a restored Porsche drivers seat that looked great.
