Leather Restoration - 1990 ERA Mini Turbo Number 89 of 99

In the late eighties Rover commissioned ERA, race specialists to build 'the fastest production Mini'. In 1990 99 ERA Mini Turbos were built. Originally the trim was grey leather with tartan cloth inserts. The new owner of Red No.89 was not that keen on the trim and had it totally re-trimmed in quality cream leather with red piping.

Unfortunately over the passage of time and through the change of many owners, No.89 found itself standing on a driveway for many years with a leaking window seal. When the interior arrived to me for a full restoration the leather was worn, water damaged, severely indented, rust marked, scuffed, cigarette burnt and very dirty.

But leather restoration is our name and so.... after mixing an exact colour match and lots of careful and sympathetic restoration, the interior looks stunning again. The current owner is fully restoring this beauty and this interior will complement the new red paint job and refurbished alloys.
