Jensen FF - Full car blue leather interior restoration

After 45 years this fine leather in this FF was needing some love and attention. After removing the old leather colourant and sealant lots of holes and damage were discovered. These were repaired and part of the piping on the drivers bolster was reconstructed.

The leather was then strengthened with 10 treatments of leather binding fluid. I inspected the leather again and filled any cracking with specialist fillers and degreased the leather ready for recolouring.

Four fine layers of leather colourant were applied, and then 5 layers of leather sealant. These were allowed to dry between coats.

After the car leather restoration of the front seats, I repeated the process on the door cards, console skirts, back seat, handbrake and gear gaiters.

When it was all put back together and protected with two layers of leather cream it looked stunning. The photos do not do it justice, it was vibrant yet aged and looked great. A happy leather restorer and more importantly a happy customer.
