The Linen interior on this Porsche 911 was in need of full restoration, the leather was worn and the contrasting red piping was damaged on places.
The front seats were removed from the vehicle and the Linen leather (I've seen many different shades of Linen) colour matched and leather colourant mixed. The original leather was then restored using the professional process, this involves chemically stripping off the old coatings from the leather, chemically strengthening the leather and then applying 4 very fine layers of leather colourant and then 4 fine layers of a clear satin sealant. This provides the hard wearing and water proof layer.
All the vinyl in the car was deep chemically cleaned and vinyl dressed. The carpets were steam cleaned and additional sound deadening added to bind the cracked existing material.
The end result was and interior that looked how it should, whilst not looking restored, maintaining its patina and originality. The interior now matched the quality of the cars mechanicals and body work. A beautiful rare car.
