1995 Porsche 911/993 Carrera - Full Cashmere beige leather interior restoration.
The Cashmere beige interior on this Porsche 911/993 had been badly overpainted in the wrong colour. The interior was in need of full restoration, the heavily over painted leather had cracked badly. The vinyl was heavily dirt engrained and required a deep chemical clean.
The front seats were removed from the vehicle and the Cashmere beige leather colourant colour matched and mixed. The original leather was then restored using the professional process, this involves chemically stripping off the thick overpainted layer then the old original leather coatings. The leather was then chemically strengthened and filled where required, before applying 4 very fine layers of leather colourant and then 4 fine layers of a clear satin sealant. This provides the hard wearing and water proof layer.
All the vinyl in the car was deep chemically cleaned and vinyl dressed. The carpets were steam cleaned.
The end result was lovely taking the car back to how it looked in the 1990s whilst retaining originality and its patina. Another beautiful 993 restored.
