This 1996 Porsche 911/993 Carrera 4S with a Classic Grey leather (APL) came in for a full interior restoration.
The Classic grey leather had been overpainted with the wrong colour with overspray on the seat parts. The original colour was found and colour matched and leather colourant mixed. The original leather on the front sports seats, gear knob, handbrake and steering wheel was then restored using the professional process, this involves chemically stripping off the leathers original coatings. The leather is then chemically strengthened and filled where required, before applying 4 very fine layers of Metropole blue leather colourant and then 4 fine layers of a clear satin sealant. This provides the hard wearing and water proof layer.
Sound deadening was added to bind the split original, all carpets were professionally steam cleaned and all vinyl was deep chemical cleaned and dressed.
The end result was great with the car looking how it looked in the nineteen nineties.
